Anyone who has been through what she has and has a heart of Gold deserves to be recognized, revered and admired.
Her story is at times very hard to accept as it brought tears to my eyes, but she somehow the Universe, Angels, God wanted her to live.
Even when she wanted to die, some other force wanted her to live and her story of survival to be shared.
This is a story that tells us no matter how bad we think we have it, there is always someone out that has it much worse and they are happy just being alive.

Nina Aouilk voted Woman of the Year 2023 is a mindset coach, motivational TEDx speaker and best selling author who talks to BritAsia TV about her life trauma which involves rape, gang raped, forced marriage and more.
She was raised in a family who respected males, so she wasn’t allowed to be involved with family activities and was neglected. She is the only girl.
Her parents said when she was born she was a bad omen because she was one of the first girls in all of her dad’s family. Her dad said she had an evil spirit because she was a girl.
She was kept as a family slave.
She realized things were not normal when she was 14. She was gang raped at the hands of her father and he held her down, she was punched and kicked. This was a shock to her because it was her own father.
They told her that she brought it upon herself. It only happened once. She said she thought she deserved it. After that she had no self-worth. She wanted to die.
She didn’t even want to be a girl anymore.
What is sad about all of these kinds of stories is the lack of love and the feeling of being unwanted in this world.
I can’t imagine growing up without being loved.
She did try to end her life to please her parents – she attempted to overdose.
She had an arranged marriage with one of her father’s friends and she was going to be more of a slave and her father was always concerned how he was viewed by the public and was very happy that his friend “offered” to take her.
Since her father raped her and took her virginity she was considered “unclean” and unfit to be married.
She was married just before the age of 17 and nobody came. This was in the 1980’s. She said her father had to give a lot of gold.
She was sent home from the wedding party as her.
She never had a relationship with her mother, her mother only said “come and cook.”
It was a sham wedding and she was never really marrying the son, she was to be the father’s slave.
Her mother-in-law was an evil person to her. She was never shown love, only belittled her. She was a cook and a slave – she was stripped naked and tied up with coat hangers.
Her husband had a girlfriend and was seldom around.
Her father in law was abusive almost every day and would rape her often and her family turned a blind eye to all of it.
Nina got a manager job at the age of 17 with a large corporation. She say she was good at the job.
Nina didn’t see any of the money, they took it all. She was just happy to be at work. She was happy that people smiled at her.
Nina says when a girl gets married in her culture they are no longer part of the family, not even considered their daughter anymore.
She went back to visit after they hadn’t seen her for 4 years and they were not happy to see her at all. They wanted to kill her.
They broke her arm, broke her jaw, she was covered in blood, her father pressed his foot in her throat and she said she just left her body, but something said it was not time yet.
She didn’t feel anything.
They left her there because her other brother came and said we will do it elsewhere as an honor killing.
She laid there for days and was in so much pain. She couldn’t move. One of her moms friends came and said they were going to send her to India, which was where the honor killing was going to be.
She couldn’t get up, she tried to crawl and did make it to the door. She made it to the outside garden. Somehow she escaped the house and went to a park across the road and passed out. Then she made her way to a Taxi and an English man put her in the back and put a blanket over her and took her to her friends with no charge. Her friend wasn’t home, she was taken to a police station and they asked her what happened and she said an honor killing and the cop through the folder down and said I don’t want to deal with this culture shit.
She was let down by the police and not helped.
She went to the hospital and made it out and then went to a women’s refuge but didn’t like it as their were so many women addicted to drugs.
A women gave her some money to get to her friends and her girlfriend had broken up with her boyfriend, so the boyfrriend said she could stay there if she paid rent.
She got a job as the local counsel to help people get back to work, was there for six months.
Landlord said there was a party and she went to a party and she took a drink which was supposed to be pop but it knocked her out and she was raped and was pregnant.
She ended up having a beautiful baby girl and she needed that baby.
She wanted to love that child and give that child everything she didn’t have.
She ended up getting pregnant again.
She bought a house, she was very good at business.
She became pregnant for the third time.
Her partner was very abusive to her.
This poor woman.
Her partner pushed her down the stairs when she was 8 months pregnant and couldn’t get up and she knew something was wrong.
It just happened one of her friends came and called an ambulance. She gave birth to a baby that died. She was very sad.
The hospital took pity and organized a small funeral.
She became very depressed. She became pregnant once again. Her partner said she was too fat and repulsive and just wanted her to work.
She had a baby boy.
Nina was kept as a slave by her partner. They were not married.
She was abused in front of her children. That was actually abusing them also mentally.
Nina felt she didn’t deserve any better. She believe him and felt lucky just to be there.
Her daughter went to a University and found that all of this was not normal the way he treated Nina. Then her son stood up for her.
He was sent off to boarding school.
Nina says that there is a part of India where Children are Sold for their Organs and she says this is normal.
Nina says that people don’t ask questions when a girl disappears in Pakistan or India. The teachers, neighbors, police, politicians – nobody asks questions. They don’t want to deal with it.
Nina Aouilk is such an inspiration.
How wonderful would this world be if we had a million Nina’s?
Just her vibration of love and light she emits has an enormous effect on humanity.
She was voted Women of the Year for raising awareness of human trafficking in 2023.
If you don’t feel better after watching this, there may be something wrong with you.
