“Trump declared on Tuesday that the United States should seize control of Gaza and permanently displace the entire Palestinian population of the devastated seaside enclave, one of the most brazen ideas that any American leader has advanced in years.”2
He wants them all to leave and NEVER return.
I guess there’s nothing wrong with a little “Ethnic Cleansing” is there?
Oh, that qualifies as a Crime Against Humanity and a violation of the Geneva Convention of 1949.
They’re not really people, they’re just “evil” Palestinians.
Under what Jurisdiction does the US have to do this? Because we have bigger guns?
The International Criminal Court has Jurisdiction over the Palestinian Territories. The territories are under Israeli Military Control.
Even though the USA and Israel are not members of the International Criminal Court, the ICC has Jurisdiction.21
The Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 prohibits the forcible transfer or deportation of protected persons in occupied territory.21
The United Nations and its highest court, the International Court of Justice, recognizes the Gaza Strip as part of the Palestinian territories under Israeli military occupation.21
International law prohibits the seizure of territory by force, which is defined as an act of aggression.
The U.N. Charter says: "All members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state."21
I don’t think Trump cares about ANY Law.
This isn’t representing what the American people want. This is representing what the Multi-Billionaire Oligarchs want.
Trump says that this will help bring about Peace.
This has as much to with Peace as the Covid Vaccines had to to with preventing Covid.
Trump says he wants to make the Gaza Strip into the “Riviera of the Middle East.”
